My name is Nicole Block, affectionately known as Nic. I am an illustrator and a designer with more than 10 years of experience, from freelance illustrator to senior designer for a print publication.

I am best known for stationery design. NicEvents custom stationery quickly became known for its perspective, color, humor, and attention to detail. My work has appeared in several publications and online, and can also be found in the book 100 Habits of Successful Freelance Designers and 1000 More Greetings.

I live in the Kensington neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, with my husband (and fellow designer) Dave and our wonderfully willful daughter, Anna Jae. 

As an artist and designer, I used to keep my two creative worlds separate. I have been known as an illustrator OR a designer, but not often as both.

The Nic Studio brings all my work together under one roof.
